After the season ending torn ACL injury to DT Henry Melton,    Nate Collins became a starter for the Bears.   With Mel Tucker as the Defensive Coordinator.

How many games did Collins play in? Is he looking like a starter right now?

I believe the player you are describing is Grady Jackson,  who was a massive run stopper.   

 

Nate Collins is a much lighter player,  who has very good natural ability.    But an off the field incident led to his release by the Jaguars in the winter of 2012.

Can somebody count how many former Jaguars are currently playing, coaching, or managing in the NFL? I probably woiuld be wrong about a lot of them, as you could see in my OP on the old board.

I've always had a good feeling about him and thought he'd turn out to be a good, solid player. Nice to see it's working out for him in Dallas. I wish it was here though.

That's funny because other than when the Jags played them I've seen the Raiders in passing here and there and I never notice DM. 

Actually now I do remember hearing his name during a running play.
