This one really stings man, they stung us out there. We just need to look at some things man, and sweep the corners. I have no doubt this special group will bounce back man, we need to get back to who we really are man and play Jay-gwires football man!

let's just go with the Steelers coaching model and keep Gus around for his entire life.  eventually he might get it.

Quote:And the game clinching touchdown earlier this season, as well as several catches after which he took big hits, also figments of my imagination? Dropped passes, or not, it's not fair to doubt Hurns' effort.
Okay would slump be better?

The bad.....They lost again.

The good.....They got 2 turnovers and actually had the lead.

Very good share, Bullseye.

Good stuff.

They played a better game, but still not good enough to win.  Turnovers continue to kill us.  They are making winnable games unwinnable, and making bad games even worse.

I was thinking the very same thing about Lee.  He's really coming around and it's been a blessing that he's been able to be durable this year.

At this point of the season, because Jaguars, I wouldn't mind not seeing Jack until next season.  With our luck, he'll blow out a knee on a kickoff or punt.  As long as he's healthy I've pushed and am eager to see how he contributes on the next defense we install next year.  We know they don't have any idea or plan this season.

Defense is really turning the corner.  But, in all phases, they have to play with better discipline (penalties) and be more careful with the football (turnovers.)

Defense has played well for most of the season.  I don't think it will really arrive until they more consistently pressure the QB and start making positive game changing plays.

But yes, discipline is needed throughout.  Not just with penalties, but with missed assignments.

I'm of a dual mind with Jack.  On the one hand, I selfishly want to see Jack start these last 6 games.  Not only to satisfy my curiosity about how he would fare as a starter (I still think he'd do well), but to give an incoming coach/coordinator film to know what they are working with in him.  On the other, I share your fear of Murphy's law as it applies to the Jaguars.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
