Yeah how dare Bortles hit Lee right in the hands for what should have been a game winning catch.

Bortles isn't great but when it came to the game winning drive he did what he should have and Lee let him down just like he always does.

He is horrible. Batted balls (4+) in one game, over throwing everyone (6+), can audible out of a play (never), can't read a defense (all the time), throws ducks and wobblers every other pass, INT and makes one good play that a WR drops and he isn't the problem??

Please tell me how great he was this game or good, or average?

They should cut Benn. Not a great loss if they do.

A better QB and a couple of OL and this team makes the playoffs next year easily. It won't be easy to find those pieces but it has to happen for this team to take the ultimate step forward.

Bortles plays as if he is actually like 0.2 drunk out there. How is it possible to wobble every single pass... even on a 2 yard pass...

Keys to losing: Been made two critical errors (penalties wiping out LF go ahead TD and last punt return by Lee), Lee drops critical pass in OT and misplays punt, and Bortles either throws behind or short of his receivers or throws sidearm into the arms of the D-Line of the Jets most of the day. Poor poor game by the O-Line, they got stuffed at the line of scrimmage all day by NY; would have been even worse without the amazing YAC of Fournette. And did Marcedes Lewis even dress for this game???? geez...

Still put us in a spot to win the game twice. Once with the check down to Fournette that would have been a TD if not for Benn, and the other when he hit Lee in the hands for what have put us in a spot to kick a game winning field goal.

Both of those things easliy would have made this and average to good game for him if those players didn't let him down.

1. BB5- Don't need to explain.
2. Lee- Two terrible plays at the end.
3. Benn- That one penalty on Fournette's touchdown was biggest play of the game. Even if Fournette gets tackled there, the Jags would have had
1st down at the Jets 2.
4. Coaching/playcalling- Was bad the entire game. Last week it was great.

On a positive note, Fowler seems to have turned the corner. He made some great plays and almost won it for them when he knocked the ball
out of McCown's hand.
The team will never win consistently as long as BB Pick 6 is on the team. That loser can't throw a spiral to save his life. The coaches and players have absolutely no confidence in this guy.  The coaching staff doesn't even trust him enough to call a play action pass when there are 8+ men in the box.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Yup.  Pretty sure there were 9 in there more than once.

Bortles is below average in every quarterback category except for: throwing ducks, getting balls tipped at the LOS and of course his specialty, pick sixes.

he wasn't good at all; anyone defending Bortles at this point needs a head and eye exam

I'm tired of hearing if we have this and that; or next year. We've been hearing it for 9 years now and it's frankly getting tiresome
