Former Toronto pitcher Roy Halladay dead

Apparently he was killed today in a small aircraft crash. Sad. I remember watching him pitch. He was a talented guy. Taken way too early.

RIP, Roy. Being a Ray's fan, I definitely remember the games against him when he pitched for Toronto. Really good pitcher and an even better guy.
RIP
What a drag. Coincidentally -- I was actually 2 blocks away from the Cory Lidle (yankees pitcher) plane crash in NYC when it happened. I was walking into a restaurant for lunch and heard the crash and then the sirens. My date and I sat there and watched the fire trucks, ambulances and police cars flood to the scene. Craziness. I have a few friends that fly. I'd never trust myself not to screw up somehow.
I read that his wife attempted to prevent him from buying the plane in fear that he would die in an accident.
