Watching the game on TV we don't get to see every play the way you can with the all-22.

 

From what I see, Parnell seems to be the weak link on the line.

I think Parnell has a real problem handling speed on the edge when we start getting behind. But he's also not getting much help from the guy next to him.


Or from the backs. (Hard to say if it's the backs or they aren't being directed to help that side when needed)


Or the TEs.


I think when the flow of the game is kept somewhat normal he's decent in pass blocking. I agree with Marty below you, our line looks so easily confused by the slightest stunts or blitzes.

Regarding the running game, do you think, that with adequate blocking, Yeldon and Ivory would be effective? Or do you think we need an upgrade there, too?

  What you mentioned leads me to a question that I would be interested in input from anyone that follows the Jaguars very closely.

 

  How much of the Jaguars overall pass blocking issues,  individually and collectively,  are related to the team falling behind regularly in games?  This compared to how much is the O-Line and other components of the Jaguars pass blocking responsible for the Jaguars falling behind in the first place?
