Poll: Should the Jags do all they can to win any game possible or throttle back the way other teams do to improve their draft position?

Late Season Wins

Maybe they should try not to win.

They would probably go on a win streak.

We should win and give Gus an extension as long as we finish 3-13 or better.

Funny thing is, the end result would be the same, no matter how hard they try. This team doesn't "start" to be a winning team until the current regime of coaches are fired.

With that said, should we throttle back as well or win those games?

Not winning just does more damage to the mentality of our current players. If you actually support this team tanking youre a loser

You don't need to tank to draft a RB.

Tank for Deshaun Watson

Always win. Draft is always a gamble and most don't pan out.

It's not tanking if you suck, and well - whoever we draft is likely going to end up being a bust anyway so what difference does it make?

Like the Jaguars have won a bunch of games late in the season in recent years? We pick in the top five every year. They were blown out the last two games last season and went from picking in the low teens to picking fifth.

Actaully it is our pattern. See Gus first year 0-8, then 4-4, second year, 0-7, then 3-6. We tend to pick up nonsense wins at the end of every season. I want us to win, but it wouldnt be in our best interest.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

lmao, does anyone really believe this team needs to "try" to lose? whether you want them to tank or to win, they'll still gonna lose.

I am a believer!

that they will more than likely lose. I've lost all faith.

What's the draft going to do for us? There are no QB's worth a [BLEEP], and the only players we might want are Dalvin Cook, Fournette, Jabrill Peppers, and Teez Tabor. At least one of them will be available at our pick, no matter if we try to win or not.

I think the Jags should put forth 100% effort to try to win... I say that expecting them to do no better than maybe a 3-13 season. The net result is we get a high draft pick once again. There is no need for the Jags to 'tank' on purpose... it comes to us naturally.

At this point I don't care. Of course they will put 100% effort into winning the remaining games but they will still lose most of the games. At best they win 2-3 more games.

You play to win regardless of how bad things are.  If you're playing to lose, just move the team to London and be done with it.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I think trying to win is by far the best approach.   However,  if the Jaguars are eliminated from the playoffs, I view the situation somewhat differently.   At that time,  If there's an opportunity to give one or more young players that have shown promise in practice more playing time in a situation where the current starter ( s ) isn't playing at a high level,  it probably would be worth going with that youth at that time.

they've been trying to win for 4 years and are 14-41.
