Greenville Church burned and spray painted "Vote Trump"

Quote:Oh, c'mon...

If you see a kid with paint on his fingers and on the wall, do you really need to ask him why he did it? Seems like you're just trying to deflect away from the fact that it appears that he did it to shame Trump and his supporters.

There was no report of him painting the symbols, but it was reported they (the arresting authorities, I presume) said they didn't think the arson was politically motivated. That would rule out your motive theory, wouldn't it?

Quote:Of course we know he isn't a Trump supporter, he's black and the media told us none of those people support Grand Kleagle Trump.

Ding!

We have a winner!

And I bet he wasn't even trying.

Quote:You posted your comment on a board which hundreds of people read.

I thought you could put 2 and 2 together. I'll be more specific next time. The other responses following yours proves that it was indeed a "we" situation.

As to motive, do you question the motive of the Ft. Hood Shooter? How about the 9/11 hijackers. Finally, how about the rioters at President Trump's rallies throughout 2016?

2 + 2 <> hundreds.

I usually never question the motives of insane people.

I do question the intellectual honesty of anyone saying only liberals behave the way many believe the arsonist behaved.

Quote:I can't speak for him, but personally, nothing good comes from destruction.

Had the "vote Trump" not been there, I would have expect muslim extremists for burning a church this close to Christmas.

The fact that someone did it is secondary. The important thing is that many families, PEOPLE, don't have their place of worship during this most sacred time of year. There is nothing to smile about when that happens.

I feel for those families. If it was done as a political statement, as I said before, it is a VILE ACT, no matter who did it.

I agree, nothing good come from this at all.

Your response is the best one in this thread, nothing to disagree with at all.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

Quote:Tell me the truth, did you have a smile on your face when you thought a white Trump supporter set the church on fire?

Nope

he knew it.

Im practicing this "wait before we rush to judgment thing".

Quote:It's always the white man's fault with you. How about just admitting that you were wrong and that this type of behavior is consistent with a lot of liberals?

Actually I blame the white man for keeping systematic racism in place to purposely benefit only a segment of people.

I blame the black man for having multiple children out of wedlock which is also helping to contribute to the poverty and lifestyle issues.

Let me stop there....

Quote:Actually, I was even more disappointed.

All the lies and misinformation are what are truly destroying us from within, not race relations.  That's the greater lesson to be learned from this.

It's sad that people like you will never stand for peace among races, or ever be for a truly raceless nation.  Because if we truly do look at one another as the same, race can no longer be used as a division tool that you seem to love so much.

Not if, but when (yes, when) whites become a minority - will you be for their "equal rights" and "class protection" as a minority class?

We're Americans.  No hypen.  There will always be problems until that's accepted by those who call America their birthplace.

What evidence do you have of me "never wanting to stand for peace"?

Since when was addressing income, education, and housing inequality made me become divisive, or encourage divisions among difference races?

When the statistics are reversed and whites become the most poorest, have the worse education, etc I will speak up as well. Lets be honest do you think the ladder will happen, or are you just speaking tongue in cheek?

The only "system" that keeps anyone down is the system anyone is free to join - success brought by making the right decisions.  Fighting the peer pressure that keeps you down.  Not "whitey."

But then, hard work and success are what "white people talk about."  So therefore, good advice is rejected...

Stop seeing color, and you'll start seeing answers.

Success has no color.  Only rock solid principles and good choices.  Reject them, and you reject your ability to succeed.  It's true.  You know it but don't want that.  It's too hard being responsible for yourself.  Much easier to blame others for shortcomings and failures.  It isn't how many times you fall, it's how many times you get back up.  It's not what you got wrong, it's what you learned.

If you want to be successful, you must imitate... learn and do the things that make people successful.  No where in the equation does race even factor.  Unless, of course... you're looking for a false excuse.

I agree with you 100%, especially the part in red.
