I am compelled to clarify all of my previous statements about people not being real Jaguars fans after we lose.

 

Yes, all fans care most about winning. That is obvious. We can play our best game statistically and are still angry because it was a loss. We can play an ugly game and get lucky, but will be happy that it was a win.

 

But here is one thing that drives me nuts on this forum: Fans don't care about the effort our players and coaches put in and successes on some plays in the game when we lose. I see it like a pet dying: mourn the loss forever, but remember all of the good things too. (Sorry if you lost a pet and know how this feels.) Don't tell me or anyone else you don't care about what the players did - sack QBs, score TDs, recover fumbles, etc. - just because we lost the game. If you care at all about the players and coaches, show it on this forum. Fans are not apathetic. That is a fact.

 

I have no problem with people criticizing players and coaches when they make mistakes. That is human nature. I do it too. But because we all want to win more than anything, there is no logic to wanting the team to tank for any reason. Why call yourself a Jaguars fan and hope we keep losing if your top priority is winning every single week? I don't care what you think of the coaches. If you want to win, you don't want to tank.

It's his newest attempt to throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks. He wants to feel appreciated while living in his mother's basement. Probably one of his dad's sister's cousin's neighbor's friend who knows a scout told him this.
