Saying all came together is a bit of an exaggeration. Seemed more like the colts decided to give up halfway through the third quarter more than anything.

 

There is some truth to this but they competed in all phases and he actual made some decent coaching decisions that game.

Did any media member ask Gus Bradley in yesterday's press conference about Blake Bortles' mechanics during the game against the Raiders?    IMO,  that should have been the # 1 question.

I call [BLEEP]. I see these comments on how good they're practicing but then they lay an egg on game day. I sincerely doubt they are practicing that well all week and then playing lost and undisciplined on Sundays.

I agree. His footwork is woeful. It's almost to a point that it is unbelievably bad.

  Even watching a version of the Raiders game with limited replays,   what caught my attention as much as anything ( even more than the footwork issue which is certainly pronounced ) was Blake Bortles long release in the game.   As someone who was very impressed with Bortles at times the previous 2 years,  the only reason why I wasn't shocked at what I was seeing is the understandable amount of attention his release got on the Forum in recent days.   Just on his long release only,   there were at least two Raiders pass breakups that almost certainly wouldn't have occurred if Bortles'  release was more compact.

  Unfortunately,  Byron Leftwich's long release caught up to him.  Especially, in the form of injuries.
