Quote:Is it possible there are several types of regulation? You realize that regulations cover many different things, right?

As for trumpettes: Don't complain about a rigged system if you are cool with large conglomerates merging.

I used to think you were deflecting. Now I'm convinced you just don't know what you're talking about.

Quote:Nonesense.  The basic tenant of the free market is that as the # of suppliers increases, the options and quality for consumers increases while the overall price decreases.

Merging = decreasing the number of suppliers.

Quote:Who the [BAD WORD REMOVED] still uses cable. If you have internet there is ZERO reason to pay for cable.

Some people don't have fast enough internet.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

You embarrass yourself constantly.

I pity you.

But with that said, if you live for corporate consilodation, that's fine.

But don't pretend you are a populist. Cuz you aren't. You don't even know that the largest cost of a business is.

Any hoo I'm sure a mod will come and try to defend your tolken position. It still doesn't change the fact that a consolidation of wealth is anti American.

That unfortunately does hinder the idea of cutting the cable.

Has anyone checked lately to see where AT&T is on the Clinton donor list?

I said that conservatives prefer increasing diverse groups of suppliers, how is that an endorsement of this deal?

Interesting, in the 80s under the best leadership of our lifetime (for those of us lucky enough to actually have been alive then) the Bell monopoly was broken.

Now, the current "leadership" of fools are helping "get the band back together."

Figures.  Career politicians only know their self interests, not history or what's best for the people they supposedly represent.

I stream NFL Sunday Ticket all the time, yesterday on my phone as I drove through Georgia. No data charge for DirecTV/AT&T wireless subscribers. At home I prefer streaming on my PC.

Yup, and Time Warner has the one thing AT&T lacked, content.

HBO, TNT, TBS, CNN, etc.
