Quote:″Tony Sparano devoted over 30 years of his life to coaching football, including serving as the tight ends coach under then head coach Tom Coughlin with Jaguars in 2002. The Jaguars are forever grateful for Sparano’s incredible impact on our sport and we’re deeply saddened by his sudden passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Sparano family, including his wife, Jeanette, his sons, Tony and Andrew, and his daughter, Ryan.″ His son, Tony Sparano Jr, is an assistant offensive line coach for the Jaguars since January 2017. He's a legendary coach in my book. I keep thinking back to similar instances when a team would rally around a tragedy, like when Richard Collier was shot (fortunately he's still living), and I have to wonder if something like that might happen with the Vikings to pretty much push them over the top.
