The O-man recently said that this past season was "by far" Bortles best. I get that considering how he was gold in the red zone late in the season and in the Playoffs... the guy is clutch as heck. That said, I still recall watching him late in the 2015 season when he was just slaying teams. How soon we forget, but that year our defense was so bad it simply didn't matter what the offense did, but Bortles was taking names.

I now call that his "Hulk Bortles" season because he had a tendency to reach a low point after an INT, etc, but then suddenly he'd snap into an entirely new quarterback. It's almost like he has multiple personalities, but he has to get pissed off to enter slayer quarterback mode as Hulk Bortles. When he'd go Hulk there was simply no stopping him... he was perfect... but I've yet to see him truly get back there. He was close in the Playoffs last year, but he still wasn't quite Hulk Bortles. Hulk Bortles would have beat the Pats despite Jack not being down. This isn't a knock on how great he played, but as the Hulk, he's more aggressive and just slays any defense. Heck, probably his biggest issue in 2015 was scoring TDs too quickly because it gave the other team a chance to play against our defense in the final seconds.
