You could argue Jenkins or Collins are better, but he is by far their best DL. JPP was the second best last year and he's gone too

Snacks is their best dline player

Snacks is really good. But he's essentially their Dareus. He's pivotal in the run game, not much of a pass rusher. Guess it just comes down to which you find more important.

Hes better than Dareus.  He is the best NT in the game imo.  Pass rushers are more important but Vernon isn't close to being one of the best pass rushers in the game.  Will be interesting to see Vernon in the 3-4 defense though.  Vance Joseph ran some 4-3 and 3-4 at Miami with Vernon so should see which one he us better in if he can get healthy

I guess Koyack decided to roll the dice and try to latch on with another team instead of trying again with the Jags next offseason.

Oh I never meant to imply Dareus was better. Snacks definitely is. All I meant was his role on that defense is a run stuffer, not a pass rusher. Much like Dareus does for us.

Without Vernon (who I agree is maybe an above average Pass Rusher at best) and losing JPP, they literally have no pass rush right now. Blake should have plenty of time.
