You think Ramsey wont be a success even if this team fails? C'mon now, you guys are smarter than this.

No ring. No success. Takes a team.

Overly simplistic. Dan Marino was unsuccessful by that standard.

After watching the Jaguars pull together as a team last season.....especially towards the end and the playoffs my self and most thought the team had real potential this year.
They seemed to have returned for 2018 ...with some in their own world, self centered and an overblown estimate of their abilities....
the end result was failure as a team.
Being the bottom of the division proved it.
It's a very fine line that divides winners from losers in the NFL....and working as a team usually
makes the difference in winners and losers.

I just hope that the players that were the disruption ....if they ARE brought back....have learned a lesson and have a better attitude and outlook.

This is professional football.....the best 2,000 or so players in the country....you are really fortunate to have the opportunity to play .......the money is beyond anything you ever dreamed of when you were in High School.
There is always....ALWAYS....someone that will take your place if you don't want it.
Because Jaguars is our mantra  Wallbash

If your talent exceeds your drama then you have a place; the rest is superfluous.

There are abundant exceptions to every rule. But we are looking for things we can control that can change our team’s future fortune. Focus on the agenda set forth by your coach is critical and anything that fuzzes up the focus on doing your own job and being supportive of the players around you attempting to do the same is wasted energy and a detractor.

If I played in the NFL my main goal is winning it all and anything less is failure. My opinion, not necessarily your truth.

See, you arent using the player's perspective. Players know that this is business. The team will drop you the minute you cost to much for your production, so get yours and move on.

The industry does not change the definition of the word "voluntary" no matter how much you need it to in order to support your argument.

This seems like an odd argument. Lots of companies have "voluntary" events, disguised as team-building or social events. People show up to them or they get labeled. You can find this in any industry. Football is no exception.

Guarantees remain voided so I'm not sure thats the end we'll hear on this. Likely an NFLPA issue

Rocnation probably realized there is nothing they could do since this clause is in almost every contract and probably advised Fournette to play nice and do some begging.
The Jags stayed firm and told him to earn it. Fournette excepts the consequences and finally realizes he needs to step up.
Just my hopeful speculation based on nothing.
