It’s media speak. He’s in a new environment with a new employer and new colleagues. Proper etiquette when asked to give a quick opinion of them would be to find something positive to say. The overwhelming majority of people put into his situation would do just that. Saying something positive about your new environment doesn’t have to mean any ill will is held for your prior environment. It’s just how you’re supposed to answer the question unless you want to risk pissing off your new coach and teammates by being “real” and criticizing anything that’s going on over there.
