Yep no way we would pass on Allen imo.

Isn’t it a virtual lock that Murray goes #1 right now?

The Skins apparently have a deal in place for Rosen but no one wants to let it out because it would take away from the intrigue of the #1 pick.

Last I seen Arizona isn't going to take him

I will be absolutely furious if we pass on Allen. Honestly, I’ll be disappointed if we pass on Sweat, but passing on Allen would be inexcusable.

Given Sweat's heart condition, he's falling out of the top 10. The Dolphins appear rather set on him so that's why I have him going there. If they pass, he might just fall a bit.

As for Allen, I know he did have a lot of sacks but most of those were coverage sacks. The guy is really a 3-4 OLB, and I just get the feeling he'd end up in a role like Fowler's whereas Hockenson would be a difference maker this season. That is unless... just maybe... Allen could be that perfect OTTO that Todd Wash has been looking for since he got here.

How many of Josh Allen's sacks were coverage sacks

If the darft played out this way, I don't know that Dave passes up the value, regardless of need. That said, at the very least, if Allen falls past NYG, I have to think SOMEBODY in the top 15 makes an offer to move up for him, maybe ATL? That would leave us with Fant or Jonah, and a few extra picks this year, or maybe their first next year.

Allen would be the pick in the mock. I like Hock, but too much value in a top 5 caliber pass rusher dropping.
