Even DC's first draft wasn't that bad. If he had inherited a real team and not Gene's garbage, that '13 class would have been good depth and good development until called upon. But they needed to play right away and got no development.

In fairness, people thought we had coaches who could actually develop players. Who knows how Cyprien and Gratz would have turned out had they had proper coaching?


 

However it appears that Joeckel was not a coaching failure, just a mediocre talent.

Why does Joeckel not fall into the coaching failure category too?

 

Not saying he isn't a mediocre talent, but you could argue given the turnover at the OL coach position due to Yarno's cancer (I HATE cancer), the team didn't develop him, either.

 

Just want to hear your rationale.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Been watching Jabrill Peppers for a couple of years now.

Harbaugh is using him as a Saftey/Linebacker hybrid on defense this year. No question he can play in the box, however I think he is best suited for a Tyrann Mathieu role. FS in base and Nickel CB. PR/KR.

 

We could also get rid of House and have both Peppers and Ramsey as our CBs. My is that scary.  

 

I think he is more suited for SS than CB because his biggest weakness (and I wouldn't even really call it a weakness tbh) is coverage.
