Plus Khan has said ( I don't remember where) that firing a coach during the season would not make a significant difference, so it would serve no purpose... Gus is here for the entire season

He was right. We have seen many teams fire coaches before the season ended, including the Jaguars. I can't think of one who finished with a winning record.
