You’re completely missing the point. It’s not just about Daniel Thomas.

It’s about neglecting the offense. That’s not even exaggerating.

Right, I'm completely baffled by the concept of weighing the value of defensive depth vs offensive depth. You got me.

Neglecting the offensive side of the ball almost completely is insane.

They took Shenault in the second round, and Bartch in the fourth. What more do you want? This team isn't going to get contributing receivers in the fifth round of the draft. These picks are purely for special teams and end of the roster depth signings with the potential to develop into a good pro down the line. You're not drafting impact rookies at this stage. Armchair GMs are hilarious.

You're absolutely right, it a good thing they drafted impact rookies in the 1st round!

Say what?

What more? How about taking Tyler Johnson out of Minnesota when he was available? Or instead of a dime a dozen NT, possible OLine help outside of a D3 converted OT?

Or. Try this one. Actually trading with Atlanta in round 1, taking Lamb at 16 and JAYLON Johnson in round 2. Or taking Wirfs at 9 and Jefferson at 20.

Any one of those would be just fine.

FWIW. On his draft call with Thomas, DC said he’ll be coming in to compete at FS

You all dissing this guy.  Dudes, this guy is gonna be the a starter next to Ronnie Harrsion.   He's a solid tackler, hits hard, thickly built for a safety that runs a 4.5.   We got a steal.
