Quote:Dude ---we were down 35-0.  That's pretty much a legitimate point to complain about any aspect of the game last week.

Your very few points above remind me of the Gus Bradley version of highlighting 2 of 70 plays and building on the momentum that was established last week.

My thoughts exactly. We're now 12 - 38 under Gus Bradley. We haven't had a decent looking football team since 2007. The fans have every rhyme and reason to complain about this team. Seeing is that it's the season ticket holders and seat fillers that keep this team relevant when in all actuality it doesn't deserve it if they're going to keep giving us these types of losses. I have been posting on here since I was a sophomore in high school (2005). I have truly been very optimistic in the past. Even under regimes with Jack Del Rio where he had a revolving door as his offensive coordinator. And even when the team hired Mularkey and we saw an entire draft class flutter year after year. But as I've grown older. And I've had to actually work for my money and I've had to grow up and pay bills, etc. When you're looking at all the long time fans who have paid year in and year out to see this team and support it. I tip my hat to those folks. My patience is no longer worn thin. It's just simply not there. There must be a change at the head coaching position if we fail tomorrow and we fail in London. If you're going to be 0 - 4 going into an early season bye week. And it's now 12 - 40 under Gus Bradley's regime. His head needs to roll. For better or worse. He needs to be gone. Because we need to move on and we need to get that job opening up now so potential candidates can see how this team reacts and behaves when it abruptly changes commands mid-season. And we're playing for another high draft slot regardless of who coaches this team by week six so what's the difference? Mathematically we're already looking at a 12% - 15% chance of making the play-offs.

The long walk back to the plane?

I was going Sunday but changed my mind...I'm so bummed out by this circus of a coaching staff.

Quote:Agree, though there was nothing to suggest that three years ago.

Then, it was a forward thinking hire, trying to tap an up and coming coach.  To guess back then that we would be where we are now, would be just that - a very blind guess.

The hiring of Bob Babich as DC was a very early indication that Gus Bradley wasn't the guy. But finding coordinators for a team in chaos is not an easy task, so I figured that maybe Bradley would replace him as soon as a better option came along. Nope. Babich should have been fired long before he actually was.

Bradley's coaching in the 2014 Senior Bowl gave me some hope that Gus was actually a decent coach. Then the team lost it's first six games that year after being supplemented by a very good draft and two players from Gus' Seattle defense. Then it was all downhill from there.
