Nearly twice as many military members died from suicide July-Sept than from coronavirus since pandemic's start

163 service members committed suicide in Q3 2021

Over 150 members of the U.S. military took their own lives in the third quarter of 2021 which represents a greater total than the number of service members who have died from the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.

Given more than 97% of service members are vaccinated, this just proves that vaccinations work in minimizing the risk of COVID death. Seems like a vaccine mandate works.

I think you may be missing Drifter's point.

There's a lot of shame in seeking help and potentially taking medication to help your brain. Also some people feel like they can't afford it. People shouldn't feel shame but they do. Please don't feel shame.
If you're struggling with suicidal thoughts, but haven't gotten professional help yet, please,
At least collect your guns and leave them with a relative,
Cut back on drinking or quit,
Get anything you could overdose on, like narcotics, out of the house, if you can.
Any of these steps will help you make it.

Using your logic, you could say it seems like vaccine mandates also causes suicide. Rolleyes

Just a dumb article trying to associate the two.

Suicides are down this year from last year, so the mandates must be prevnting suicides.

Y'all should read 'All Secure' by Tom Satterly. A 20 year veteran as a Delta operator, his first deployment was Mogadishu in 1993 and his last was in Afghanistan during OEF. How he describes his times of deployment gives you a very good idea of why these men come back so jacked up. He is very honest about it all. Especially with his suicidal ideations.
