Professor: Not ‘Effective’ To Assume All Pedophilic Sexual Relationships Are Predatory, Criminal

A professor at the University of New Hampshire is pushing back after clips posted on Twitter showed him suggesting it is not “effective” to assume that a pedophilic “relationship” is predatory and criminal.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

People should read the whole article before deciding if they are outraged.
The professor agrees that all sexual relationships between adults and children should remain illegal.
He is simply arguing that not all such relationships follow a predator-prey dynamic, therefore, kids of a certain age not only need to be taught to report adults who make overtures to them, but also to avoid acting on any desires they might have for adults.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Not Effective To Assume All Pedophilic Sexual Relationships Are Predatory, Criminal

The age of consent is 18 in the state of Florida. I'm sure there are plenty of sexual relationships between 18 & 19 year old's but I don't consider the 19 year old to be predatory, criminal and based on the lack of enforcement of such relationships, it does not appear that the police consider that to be criminal either.
