This guy must have come on the show when I stopped watching it a few years ago. I don't recognize him.

He started out with Polar a few years back.  A logger from Montana who came up for a different challenge and make some money.  I think he had just gone through a divorce at the time, IIRC.

 

Had a rift with the owner of Polar, and recently started his own business.  Was able to pull Lisa Kelly away to drive with him.

 

I was about to hang it up this year myself.  Now have to finish the season.
