The Draft

#1

My ideas for the draft:

The Jags have upgraded DL, corner and safety through FA to an already pretty good defense. They need some offensive firepower.

The Browns are almost forced to take Garrett with the first pick. I hope they are in love with someone else so they would be willing to trade their #12 and #33 for the #4 the Jaguars hold. Cleveland has another pick in the second round.

With #12 I would take John Ross the WR from Washington - great speed and good athleticism, decent hands- the rest can be coached.

With #33 I would take Joe Mixon, the RB from Oklahoma. He has off-field baggage and would need a personal monitor, but he has great talent, not much of a drop-off from Fournette.

With #36 I would take Engram, the TE from Ole Miss (this is assuming the TE's from Alabama and Miami have already been selected). Engram lacks some size but is pretty dynamic.

The next few rounds should be concentrated on the OL.

Go Jags!

I don't sense the Jaguars are looking for a WR, but if they were I can't see drafting John Ross over Corey Davis.

As #33 there's no way in hell I'd waste the pick on a thug like Joe Mixon... besides, there are better RB options there such as Kamara. I'm projecting the Packers will take Mixon near the end of round two.

At #36 I'd be fine with Engram... I'd be fine with Engram at #33.

As an OL option, let me know what you think about Zach Banner if he's there for the Jaguars in early round three
. I feel he'd be an awesome RT maybe even better than Moton.

Banner is way too big and not mobile enough for RT in the nfl. I love moton in the 3rd or 4th though
