Quote:this is all they have...  "Trump SAID this"

Hillary has DONE worse.  it's a hopeless case however.  these people have got it in their head that Trump saying something controversial is really really scary.
Somehow, anyone supporting Trump is a blind follower, and anyone supporting Clinton is enlightened.  Of course, enlightenment means burying your head in the sand to avoid all of her flaws.  As long as she's promising free stuff, that's good enough.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Quote:I don't think the media ignored the allegations of improper actions on the DNC's part. However, Trump is a center of attention figure who has had a really bad stretch of saying inflammatory or inaccurate things. It's easy for things he says or does to overshadow the news feed. He thrives on it. It's how he got this far. I am not beating the drum Clinton is gonna be the bombdiggity president. I never have. But Trump is toxic and very dangerous. Especially when he has whipped up a Gestapo-like cult following that never challenges the validity of his statements (and Snopes and Politifact show he is full of dookie). Blind followers are the terrifying. They'll follow him off a cliff if he wills it.

They said as much as they had to say. Almost immediately there were articles defending what the DNC had done.

Hillary has done dangerous things. If I have time I'll make a list.

Quote:You're kidding, right?

The email scandal story broke at the beginning of the convention. The media did everything in their power to bury the story by gushing about unity at the convention. Of course, in order to sell that narrative, they had to dismiss the Bernie fans, ignore the protests that took place on the floor of the convention and outside, and then report on a fawning crowd that was at least partially paid to be there. They couldn't express their giddiness with enough enthusiasm while ignoring the false narratives surrounding the entitled nominee at her coronation. They were like a bunch of teenage school girls who were bedazzled by celebrities and good old Bubba and his filtered history of the Clinton love affair.

If we're going to go to Snopes and Politifact to say trump is full of it, make sure you avoid fact checking Clinton. The woman lies any time her lips start flapping. But, blind followers are terrifying because they don't care.

I fact check everything which is why I know I could never vote for Trump. All politicians lie or mislead. But he's trying to set a record. Or he just has no [BLEEP] clue what he's talking about. Not sure which.
Only a chump boos the home team!

But you gloss right over what should be a huge story. She freaking hires Schultz right after. No one cares. You can hate Trump and still be upset that the party actually conspired to put one candidate into the Presidency all the while saying that everything was on the up and up. Schultz hasn't even had to answer for what happened and no one cares that Hillary hired her. I feel like we are living an in alternate Universe.
