How do you feel about our LB'ers?

Quote:I would almost put money on this being Posluszny's last year in Jacksonville. Posluszny lacks the athletic ability to make plays down the field in the passing game. He is a big liability in that aspect and why we gave up an insane amount of 3rd down conversions last year.

It's possible, but I tend to think he'll stick around one more season after this year considering he's under contract through 2017.

Quote:Before the draft I made this exact reasoning to explain why we should not draft Jack at #5. Of course I'm glad we got him in round two, but this much remains the same. How do we get Jack on the field as a starter? Do we train him to play all three spots and rotate him all over? Or just maybe, should we start working him out at SS to replace Cyp?

I don't like the idea of playing him at SS.   I know one of his selling points was that he was a LB who was athletic enough to play SS.   But that doesn't mean we should play him there.  Because all he would be is a very large SS.   And personally, I think a very fast LB is much more valuable than a very large SS.

This. We have two young building blocks. If injuries occur though, we lack depth at the position.

Quote:Obviously you thought he was to make that statement in a discussion about who were the best linebackers for the jags. Otherwise it would be nothing more than a random irrelevant comment.

It's pretty apparent that the comment was nothing more than a poorly thought out attempt to diminish Poz's contributions as a jag.

Hahahaha sure buddy, whatever you say.

I sometimes forget I am in delusional land.
