will you be more upset than normal if..

The teams are very close in talent at many positions.  I think the Raiders have the clear advantage because their coaching is much better than ours.

If we do win, it'll be an indication that our talent is that much better than theirs.

Quote:No, not really. I'm depressed about almost any loss. I'm on cloud 9 after any win.

I'm not really big on this Bortles vs Carr stuff. That's offseason stuff. The regular season is all about the 16 games. Not just the one game against the one team. Anything can happen. Funny bounces, mistakes, turnovers, bad calls. If the Raiders win I'll be very upset, but not more than normal.

My sentiments as well, Marty. Only, I don't get depressed about losses anymore, per say. Depression is relative of course, but I used to take losses really badly back in the day. Oakland/Jags rivalry is purely fan engineered. Let the teams grow.

Still, I love beating past coaches. TC has not won in Jville since he left. Been back twice, once in prime time under the lights, lost both times. Even gifted us a game 2 years ago. Screw you Jack. Going down.

Not me. Jack was given a real bad deal and had to fix a horrid cap and a train wreck here.

So I like what he is doing in oakland. But on game day. Screw the raiders go jags!

We've lost so much in recent years that I couldn't handle getting upset every week. I'd be irritated like normal but it doesn't sting that deep anymore.

No pain, no gain.

I'm numb to losing and get overly giddy when we win.

I dont want to lose at all, but I also know the raiders are not the team they use to be. They have gotten better(so have we) so it should be a fun game and I hope we get the W. But no I wont be more upset than normal.

Quote:I  expect a good game. I hope Bortles silences the critics in the Carr vs Bortles debate
Theres no 'critics' just two young QB's who people disagree over which one is best. I know the teal kool aid is strong with the board this time of summer, but Carr really did some things better than Bortles. And Bortles some things better than Carr. Both are good young QB's and the class of their draft. Don't know why people freak out when Blake is compared with one of the best young QB's out there, its a compliment, even if people think hes not as good. We could have bridgewater or manziel, and then we wouldn't be in the conversation at all.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

I will be mad as every game we lose. I never get use to us losing b/c of my high hopes and expectations for the Jaguars. I will say this, that if we lose to the Raiders then what will that say about our hopeful winning season. A loss to a team like the Raiders will not put us in contention for the Division  or beating a better championship team........

why? this isn't the raiders of the early 2000s though they have a better online dline linebackers n probably dbs we have better wrs n maybe a very very very...... very slightly better qb the three games leading up to this game r easier if we lose well b losing to a great team n most people forgot about Murray he'll prolly have open lanes all day
