Shahid Khan continues to be awesome

Flex-N-Gate is buying 30 acres in downtown Detroit and is investing $95M to build a manufacturing facility there.

This is obviously good news for Detroit's economy, but is better news for America's future as well. We live in age where so many big businesses are farming out these type of jobs to other countries for cheap labor, tax purposes, and all other kinds of benefits, none of which create jobs here in the US. It's good to see a magnate like Shahid investing in the American economy.

I think everybody in Jacksonville was apprehensive when someone from outside of Florida purchased the team from the Weaver's. Who would've guessed that we would end up with what seems to be one of the finest (if not THE finest) owner in the NFL. We really are fortunate that Mr. Khan has invested so heavily in Jax. He's already become a part of our city.

Detroit is on their way back up many thanks to Cleveland Cavs owner Dan Gilbert who has invested significant $$ in the city.  Gilbert is now partnering to bring an MLS team to Detroit.

It's really cool that Shad has selected Detroit as the site to build a mfg plant.

.... on a side note, where do those sports fans in Detroit find all their $$ to attend 40+ hockey matches, 40+ basketball games, and 80+ MLB games plus playoffs?

If you have a bit of disposable income and are looking for an investment...look into the real estate market in Detroit and thank me in 5 years.
