The 2013 draft was very interesting. Out of the top 10 really Ansah at DE has lived up to his status. He's already racked up 30.0 career sacks through 3 NFL seasons in DET. Kind of disappointing when you realize we could have had him at 2 when DET took him at 5. But we needed a LT more at the time I guess. After him honestly Hopkins and Sheldon Richardson standout as winners from the 1st RD. You can make a case for Eifert in CIN as well at TE.

  The Panthers also have 2013 2nd Round pick DT Kawann Short on their roster.  They arguably have the best pair of DTs in the NFL.   Though Vernon Butler can provide quality rotation depth this season,  there's indeed a good chance that he eventually will start as a result of the Panthers not being able to afford to keep both their current DTs because of the salary cap.
