A "We did it!" sign autographed by Wayne Weaver when the city was awarded the franchise.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Long story, but basically we drew numbers and I got number one.  You would think number one would get first pick....well my dad brings out the 3 best things with sticky notes.  #1 was not the helmet....he switched the numbers when he saw the order so that my sister would get it.

Then she turns around and gives it to him for helping her move a couple things.  Garbage.  The best was when I was at my brothers house and his son was using that helmet as a toy....

Edit:  It's probably been close to 10 years and I'm still pretty bitter.

Quote:My wife had a pair of Marcus Stroud's gameday undies. I don't know how she got them, but she wears then to bed at least once a week. Of course they don't fit, so she uses a clothespin to keep them on.

This is normal...right?

Better her than you.

I took a dump and it looked just like the tacks logo. Does that count?

Only if you kept it as a memento.

Nah, that's a really common item.

I have this rug that I hang with the original logo. I happened to spot it one day at the massive San Jose Flea Market.

I too have one of those Times Union "We dId It!" newspapers from November 30, 1993 signed by Wayne, and also one of these inaugural game t-shirts with the tags still on it:

I have an inflatable Jags helmet I won as a kid at an arcade in J'ville when the team was in expansion. Reminds me of my grandparents since I was in town visiting them (I was born in Jacksonville but we moved shortly thereafter).

I dunno how unique it is, but early in the 1996 season, prior to the win-streak, I sent a letter to Tom Coughlin saying that the fans of Jacksonville were still behind him (a minor fib, many still were) and wishing him luck for the rest of the season.  He unexpectedly sent me a letter back saying:  Dear [hb], thank you for your very kind note.  Know that your patience and support is very appreciated.  - Tom Coughlin".  When the Jags made the playoffs that year, that note took on an extra meaning!  I still have it (framed naturally) to this day.  Smile

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.
