Would anyone be open to the Jags playing in China come 2018 or later? I know that we already sacrifice one home game for London and the UK, but what about 1 away game per year in places like Mexico, Germany, and China? we'll be able to expand our fanbase even more-and soon enough, Duval will be taking over the world before you know it lol. But I think Khan should consider it.

It is a great idea for the NFL to spread their brand around the world, and if that means making a team play one game in a different country each season (in their CEO's mind so be it).  It can only bring in more money world-wide.

With the future state of the product after additional measure to prevent CTE are put in place along with their persistence to shove their product down the throats of countries who can't maintain an entire seasons or even decade worth of support from its local fans, all the while pissing off its own fans in America, the future of the NFL as we know it is in trouble.


I realize Roger G. had pressure on him to keep increasing revenue for the owners, but every business eventually reaches its peak and the NFL is probably nearing that point.


The Jaguars can't be every countries team AND Jacksonvilles.

I honestly can't see any teams save west coast varieties making that journey. Whether you're originating from Seattle or San Fran, the flight to Beijing is still 11 hours long. I know because I've made that run myself (last time in 2014...my wife is Chinese). We're getting ready to go back again in 2017 to visit her relatives, but I'm not looking forward to it because of that reason (the flights).


A quick visual on the air quality.,.You are up above the clouds before you start your descent into Beijing. Watching the flight tracker, you see the altitude drop....25000, 22000, 20000, 18000, (enter clouds), 15000, 12000, (still in the clouds), 10000, 8000....finally exit the clouds and can see the ground. You look up at the clouds and it looks like a huge ceiling of yellow cotton candy. That's pollution for you.


Beijing is pretty bad as far as the air quality scales go, but it's not even the worst. My wife's home city of Qingdao is not bad because a nice breeze comes in from the ocean and circulates the air. However, in the same province (state) of Shandong, cities like Jinan are horrible. Mothers take their children out to playgrounds clad not in respirators, but gas masks. I knew one such mother, who has since immigrated to the US with her daughter and now lives in New Jersey. She says she's never breathed better. We're talking about New Jersey, here.


The weird part is once you've been on the ground a while, your lungs get used to it and it doesn't seem to bother you. You just feel a little drained every day. I guess until one day you just can't stop coughing and have to hit the clinic. Luckily, since my first visit to China in 1989, I have never stayed more than 2 weeks at a time, so I haven't had any real chance of health issues.


It's a beautiful country full of great people and with a great history. The only downside is the goverment policies and the pollution.

The length of the trip to China is the primary reason why I think playing an NFL game in China isn't a good idea.

  The Rams clearly rather lose home games in the next 3 seasons ( they are hosting the Giants in England in 2016 )  than once their new stadium in Inglewood opens in 2019.
