All I know is Mike Smith is a really good DC (not sure about HC), and Smith was a good reliable LB.

At the very least,  the Bucs sign a player with great intangibles.  Time will tell how much Daryl Smith has remaining from a physical ability standpoint.

D6, Rashean Mathis proved me wrong when he went to Detroit. I'm sure Smith can plug and play for 2 more years.


I like this move for that Bucs team.
