there is no way

and even if he does, he will be one of the most desired FAs in a very long time.  You think he chooses Jacksonville when every team out there is giving him offers?

Quote:its called a healthy Marks, Fowler, FA, and the draft. Im sure we will add another pass rusher or 2. We still need a corner that can cover number 1 WR. Right now we dont have that on the roster

I'm so excited to see what kind of pass rushers this team gets in the off season to help compliment Fowler

Quote:I could see Von Miller testing free agency, but the Panthers will do everything to keep Norman. They'll franchise him if they can't get new deal done in time.

I can see the Broncos tagging Von Miller.

He earned it. The Broncos know his performance against the Patriots is one reason for that. I just hope he wins the Super Bowl.

I honestly don't know if we pay Josh. With KK Short and Star's contracts coming up the year after I'm not sure we can afford him. I think Josh is going to demand/get top CB money (which he should). But our philosophy is to have a strong DL first. That makes the secondary's job easier

There is no way Carolina lets him hit the market.

Do the Panthers have salary cap problems?

Depends on what happens with Charles Johnson and Jonathan Stewart after this season. I think we cut CJ, but I don't see us letting J-Stew go - and he's due to make a boatload of money. I think they may tag Josh and then let him walk after next season when they have to sign KK and Star. Plus Kelvin will be the year after that.

But to answer your question.....we're coming out of our cap hell now so we'll have some cash to spend.
