Tailgate crashers tried to steal more than 100 beers, police say
 

 

A husband and wife duo could have spoiled some football fans’ party Thursday when they attempted to heist more than 100 beers from a tailgate party, according to Austin police.

Jose and Sandra Hernandez, aged 49 and 45 respectively, have been charged with misdemeanor theft in connection with an incident that took place just after kick off Thursday at a tailgate party at 16th and Lavaca streets, an arrest affidavit said.

Had something like that happen a few times at our old parking spot.  After the 3rd time of getting brews lifted we pee'd in some bottles, marked them and iced them down.  Oddly enough it never happened again after that.
