Blackmon's talent eclipses that of ARob/Hurns.If he had been practicing and staying in shape during his time away from football yeah he would be. He had that unique born to play football talent. He snatched the ball out of the air he didnt catch it. Pity the way his career went.
Quote:Isn't Justin blackmon coming back November 20th.. His year suspension was over last July 24th.. Plus I heard he had to wait 2 months after that.. Is it possible he returns say as a 3rd wr..Who? Justin Blackmon is gone as Gene is. I expect to see him resurface for a couple games as a bit receiver in a few years when he is strapped for cash. Best of luck to the guy, but he is gone, and out of shape to boot from what I have seen 'update' wise on him. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Quote:Peyton must store oxygen in that forehead of his. No way I'd still be alive after all that choking.

He *may* (I am not totally convinced anymore) have more natural talent, but he isn't putting it to use. And even tho I remember the 200 yard game, Blackmon never had the consistent output that Hurns and Robinson are having so far this season (especially the TD's). Quote:You can also attribute that to the QBs throwing him the ball like Gabbert and Henne.Fair point, but he would disappear every other game too. I don't think that was all Henne. Part of that is on him. Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster The Home Hypnotist! Media on the Brain Link! Blackmon is just a mere afterthought, and thankfully, the success of our young receivers has eclipsed our dark past with regards to the WR mishaps.
I dont think he ever comes back, but I am curious what his eligibility is and what he thinks about a return.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Make sure to leave him a nice tip after he takes your order at Buffalo Wild Wings in a few years.
