Based upon the latest roster updates

 

If you leave him a LDE, Malik Jackson is a 90-92 OVR.  If you move him inside to DT, he is 89.  Either way, he upgrades the Jaguars incumbent.

 

The puzzling thing is Gipson's rating.

 

OVR he is 78, only 1 higher than Brown.  Sergio Brown actually has a higher speed rating (86-83), and just about everything else is close to even except Gipson has a much higher Cth rating. (83 I think for Gipson to 60 something for Brown)

I bought his 88 overall Denver card for the game, but didn't know he had a 92 overall one..

Last year they would put out a higher than rated one for House for example so maybe they will do that for Malik .


I wonder why did the rate Gipson so low, I think being on the Browns may have hurt him as many have no idea who he even is despite his performance over the last few years..

 

I wonder if they plan on having Malik at DE or DT or will they simply move him around a bit like they did Odrick at times?

To be clear, I did not buy any cards.

 

Regarding Gipson, I have no idea why he rated so low.  If I had to bet, if you used his ratings from last year's game, he'd rate higher.

 

On Malik, I'm betting they will move him around to take advantage of matchups.

When I play the game (Ultimate) with Malik either inside or out, he is worse than Chris Clemons & Fowler at Leo and way worse than Marks at DT...

I know its only a game, so I am trying to sell him to get money for Gipson..  He has a 90 overall card I thought i had saw with like +9 to zone coverage (he already has a high zone in the 95s I think).

He instantly made the Defense great!  I only have the 78 overall RB Ivory and 80 something Prince CB but I am hoping to save up to get the higher cards to make a bigger impact on the team.

Yes MUT Cards, but I don't buy them with real money but with Madden money by defeating people online if that is what you mean.

( In Madden 16 I am referring to the Ultimate team portion of the game, which is the part I mainly play each year.)

They ranked him 5 as every down back, 13 among speed backs, 21 in receiving backs, and 54 as a power back.
