I think they'll upgrade. He's an ascending player with size, good hands n speed. But if you move on from Julius Thomas, you perhaps are thinking more top end talent than Koyack. We'll see.

Let's be realistic, he would be among the worst starting TE in the league. If his ceiling would up being a CJ Fed type that would be a great outcome.

Yeah we need to upgrade the TE position. I am confident we will draft one especially since this is such a deep draft

Lewis is still atop that depth chart at TE  -- but Koyack has decent hands and is a capable blocker.  He's not gonna' blow anyone away with speed or fool many defenders with his route-running but he's capable of playing a utility role.

Koyack to me is a solid TE2, behind a starter.  He's not special.
