Quote:It will change when we get lucky and draft the next Tom Brady in the 6th round. We already have a top 10 QB. That texans game showed me his floor just rose. If thats how Bortles plays when hes bad, Then sign me up for the next 10 years. On topic: Open the checkbook and get Cowher in here. I think it might be attractive to him to be with a rising star QB.
Can't wait to see whats next.

You can say that about Brees, Brady or Manning

I remember when others teams were "scared" about our defense.
IMO, it's all about defense. Steelers, Ravens, Seahawks, Bears...They have built reputation with their defense. Find another Mike Peterson, another Donovan Darius, another John Henderson, another Rashean Mathis...and maybe we will see the playoffs again.
I'm pretty young but I can't remember a stretch of losing seasons as bad as the Jaguars have had since the Gabbert era.
Let this sink in: The Lions, from 2008 to 2011, have had more wins than the Jaguars from 2011 to 2014. That is a historically bad stretch. The Jaguars haven't finished a season with more than 4 wins in 5 years.

We have allowed 43 of 86 3rd down conversions to be made this year. Even remedial math students know that sucks. This defense scares no one.
Only a chump boos the home team!

Quote:Look at the history of the Patriots or Steelers. Nobody is ALWAYS elite. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
