Might the Jags Have Interest in Kam Chancellor?

#21

Quote:If 27 year old, 6'3, 235 lb, 4.43 running Kam Chancellor was in the draft, he'd be a top 10 pick.

Please... Keep that in mind when discussing trade scenarios.

Chancellors a great player and all. But no way he runs a 4.43 probably a 4.6 is more like it

While we're at it we should hit up the Browns and see if they'd trade Joe Thomas for Joeckel.

...that says 4.48. Not 4.43.

NFLDraftScout.com lists his combine speed as 4.69 and his Pro Day at 4.59. That's, imo, the most reliable source for actual combine numbers. So, no, he didn't run a 4.43 or a 4.6. He ran a 4.7.

You think they'd give us Marshawn for Toby? Actually, go ahead and throw them Hurns too.

Quote:Not that I think Seattle's going to trade Chancellor but you guys are missing the point.  Sometimes teams trade players away they're unable to sign long-term and try to get something in return, even if it's an unbalanced trade.  Seattle's already given big contracts to Sherman, Thomas and RW.  There's only so much money to go around.

This would be a great point if Kam weren't already under contract for the next 3 seasons.  As it is, they have no incentive to give him away for anything that isn't at least fair value.

Cyprien would not be a core player based on his play. Probably shouldn't have put him on the list.

I'll give you partial credit for almost admitting you were wrong.
