Ray Rice's interviews with ESPN

Looks like it'll be an interesting thing to watch. He seems genuinely horrible about what he's done. Call me a fool but I do believe in second chances, and I do believe he deserves one.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

It was the same generic apology we've heard a hundred times before from a hundred different athletes, musicians, actors and politicians about a hundred different assaults, DWI's, drug charges and marital indiscretions. He wasn't even smart enough to put the ball in the end zone when he had a chance. The interviewer asked him what was the worst part of the whole incident. He responded the day the video came out. In other words, not when he realized what he had done, but when the rest of the world found out about it.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.
Quote:http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/8/4/909...rview-espn I believe him when he says he is sorry, but he still doesn't deserve a shot with another team. His yard per carry was plummeting and other backs on the depth chart were passing him. He's an aging back that now has this following him around....ehh.
I dont care about his past. His skills as a player have diminished. No thanks.

Guy's a dirtbag, hope he never get's the PRIVLEDGE to play in the NFL again!
Hopefully the youngsters out there learn from this example. There are consequences and accountability no matter who you are (or think you are with some of these narcissists). |
