Hmmmmmm, I'm not really a big Kona fan myself - although if I remember right, I do like the Porter.

Guiness is drinkable if it's mixed with something else (like in an Irish Car Bomb), but by itself it's an insult to stouts.

 

I like a good Guiness if it's from a fresh tap.

 

You have to have it a place that sells a lot of it, so it's a fresh draft.  No bottles/cans.

I could see that. I can't recall if Guiness cans employ nitrogen, but I do know that I have yet to meet a stout, no matter how subpar, that hasn't greatly benefit from being injected with nitrous at the tap.

The Pipeline Porter is very good.  The others from Kona... well they're alright in my opinion, but not something that I buy with any regularity.
