Why does size matter so much?

I do think that size matters to a tight end especially.

Yeah, tight ends have to be bigger because they are also blockers. But how much bigger?

Some would say the bigger the better but, again, it's not black and white.

As long as the guy doesn't have performance issues, we should be willing to give him a chance.

I love all the blantant innuendos. Well played, sir, well played.

But should he does have performance issues, regardless of his size, there out pills out there that can get him up to speed. However, the league might suspend him if it contains banned substance.

Once we get our franchise QB, regardless of size, we need to keep him protected. It is pure ignorance to think bigger guys can not have any protection and still be without risk.

Also, is anybody opposed to bringing in two guys to compete? Heck, throw them both into the action and see who can rise to the occasion faster.

Liike foot size, it is not always bigger in tall  men than it is in short men. I guess that is why nobody talks about how big a quarterback's or receiver's hands are.

What in the world does that mean?

Exactly! A quarterback's height and weight are almost irrelevant if five players in front of him suck.

On the other hand Bortles has large feet and big hands and a hot girlfiend. Notice the correlation ?

In the meantime, Manziel has his boyfriend Drake that he flew into meet in Miami after the Peach Bowl.
Yeah but I heard he's got some huge feet...

It would be interesting to bring in a big quarterback and a small quarterback who have the same playing style and see which one plays better with the backup linemen. But I know a team like us should not waste time doing a study like that.

I don't care how big his feet are. Hand size matters. Foot size does not.

As long as he can play, which has nothing to do with his size.
