They've just run out of anything new in Hollywood. The Munsters and Miami Vice are making a comeback on the small screen as well.

Sadly yes. Genysis was awful. AWFUL. I love Jason Clarke and he's the only reason I watched it. Terrible movie.

This demonstrates that Hollywood is completely bereft of any good ideas. God forbid they make a thoughtful movie. It seems the only avenue is to cater to infantilized audiences with endless comic book themed dreck.
