Am I the only one freaking out that if Bortles gets hurt tomorrow, we pay him $19 million next season to most likely ride the bench? I'm surprised we are even taking the chance given that the momentum seems to be squarely in Chad's favor at this point.

So, i see a bunch of recurring arguments.

1. Blake Bortles.getting 19m next year. Who cares? Its not like we are even close to cap trouble. Also, no one here is paying his salary. If you're mad about it dont watch.

2. We need a game manager and that's what henne is. We watched Henne try and be a game manager and he still threw picks, and still gets a ton of balls swatted at the line. He has no ability to run to even try ti escape a pass rush which in the division now, is arguably better than any time he was the starter.

3. Bortles completion % rules him out from being successful. For the record Cam newton has a sub 60% career comp % and only recently started getting that number up and he was drafted in 2011.

Blake during the preseason gets his completion percentage up and has no turnovers.

"Blake is possibly the worst quarterback in NFL history and he's single handedly holding this team back."

The only issue I have here is that Blake's misses are just god awful. Even Brock is throwing more accurate passes this preseason

Yup its ridiculous, Luck might not even play this year, Houston has freaking Tom Savage and a rookie, I think Tenn is overrated and we have a bunch of bad team we play.

I dont want to mortgage the future but we need to go get a QB thats worth a squat in a trade, give Kap a shot I dont care he is way better then what we got

Your preaching to the choir, I never called for Henne and dont want him out there he sucks just as bad as Bortles, the people out there that was calling for Henne is only thinking anything but Bortles not realizing how sorry Henne is

I expected this. But as much as others have faith Henne is actually not terrible this time, I do not expect Chad Henne playing a majority of the 2017 season.

Bortles had to be benched, even if just a bluff.
