JAXsonVILs Mock Draft
|
Tre Mason in the 2nd would literally make me vomit. About 3 rounds too early for a kid who won't be dynamic at all on the next level.

Quote:Prisco has us taking Sammy Watkins! Henne to Watkins! I would be pretty happy with that draft. Would be great to get Stork. He could be our center for the next 20 years.....lol. And.......I would be happy if Prisco was right about Watkins.

Quote:Round 1: Teddy Bridgewater QB LouisvilleTeddy Bridgewater with a top three pick? The talent doesn't fit the draft pick value. Why take an average quarterback like Bridgewater when we can take a player at another position with elite talent? Say Texas A&M OT Jake Matthews or Michigan OT Taylor Lewan. Matthews is clearly the best football player in the draft. Lewan is not far behind him and carries the highly coveted 'Big Nasty' reputation. I want 'Big Nasty' on my football team. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...-overhyped NFL media draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah says that if Louisville junior quarterback Teddy Bridgewater decides to turn pro, he will be "elevated above his ability." "He's not in the same class as some of the elite guys we've seen come out over the last few years," Jeremiah said this week on Fox Sports' Peter Schrager Podcast. "He's not Cam [Newton], he's not Andrew Luck. I liked 'RG3' [Robert Griffin III] better when he came out, as well. I do like him better than anyone we had in last year's draft class. If he does come out, I see him getting elevated above his ability." NFL Media draft analyst Charles Davis said on the same podcast that he likes Bridgewater "a bunch." But he also said, "I'm not sure he's a top-10 guy, but I think he may get picked in the top 10." Davis said quarterbacks often get overrated because if an NFL team doesn't have a guy it can count on at the position, "You're in trouble. I think sometimes we artificially boost these guys up because people are just terrified. What's the alternative? What do we do? Where do we go?" http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...ector-says Bridgewater is viewed by many as a potential No. 1 overall pick, but one AFC college director told NFL Media reporter Albert Breer that Bridgewater is "a second-rounder. Shorter and smallish in size, but he has solid arm strength, he's a good athlete, solid accuracy. Not dynamic or a special talent, but he has NFL starter-caliber skills, and he's a good kid with all the intangibles." Another AFC scouting director said Bridgewater has a lot going for him: "He's accurate, poised, smart, productive." But the scouting director also has issues with Bridgewater. "The body type is the concern," he said. "You're going to have to see him at the combine. He looks small and skinny to me. But he gets rid of the ball so quick and makes such good decisions, maybe you can live with that." When you hear hoof beats prior to the NFL draft, don't think horses, think cash cows.

Lewan, really? He was abused this year. He was a top 10 pick coming into the year and is slowly sliding out of the 1st round.
And Matthews wasn't even as good as Joeckel. Everyone has their question marks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Jungke Cat's just causing a ruckus as usual.

2015 NFL Draft - Analyzing Targets www.jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/topic/7892-2015-nfl-draft-analyzing-targets/ Quote:I'd much rather wait and grab Isaiah Crowell in the 4th or so. He is by far the most talented RB in this class and with our extra 4s and 5s the already overblown off field risk is mitigated. Whats his deal? Is it an attitude problem or trouble with the law?
Quote:Round 1: Teddy Bridgewater QB Louisville If we took a RB that early i'd take Bishop Sankey ,or Charles Sims from WVU. Sims isn't really highly rated but I think he'll reallly excel in our offense plus he can split out as a WR and he has pretty reliable hands. We show less advertisements to registered users. Quote:Yes indeed. Hopefully make a splash with one of the premier pass rushers available.Greg Hardy pls. Quote:He got booted from UGA because of weapon and drug charges. Hm... If he is the top RB talent like people are saying I would value him in the middle of the 4th then. Quote:He got booted from UGA because of weapon and drug charges.Yep, two violations for illegal possession of a firearm, both of which were dropped. UGA let him go anyway and he's been clean as a whistle at Alabama State by all accounts. Would love him in the 4th. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
