You know what is so annoying about these weather forecasts?

There are no power outage predictions. They said many people in South Florida will be out of power for days or weeks but not if that is likely to happen north of Orlando. Mom is just preparing for the gas shortage and possible power outage like she did before Hurricane Matthew.

Many outages, last one I saw was in excess of 2 million without power.

Even though we've dodged the main core of the storm in Jax it seems, still going to be trees down and power outages.

I can't believe stores would take them back. Most electronics are not refundable. I'm curious of the count of [BLEEP] who electrocute people and set [BLEEP] on fire with the generator they don't know how to use.

I think Jacksonville will be spared with worst of it. We'll have a mess, and power outages, but probably not the widespread property damage that will be seen elsewhere.

I've seen projected outage maps all weekend on channel 4.   If you're in Gainesville, expect numerous outages by late Monday.

I was afraid I would miss the game when my power went off at around 9:30. Luckily the outage lasted only an hour. Now there is some wind but the rain has let up.
