Trent Richardson to Colts For First Rounder

Looks like Richardson is going to get a humongous opportunity this week.  It would appear that Bradshaw will not play due to a neck injury (he hasn't practiced this week).

Still not convinced that trading a #1 for TR was a good idea.

In related news, his old team is 2-0 since the trade.

Obviously the Browns are tanking...

They got a #3 overall pick for the price of, at worst, a #20 something pick. Not only that, but they have some proof that this #3 pick isn't a bust. The #20 something pick is a hit or miss on panning out.

I don't see how this is a bad trade.

He doesn't play like a #3 pick and probably never will. The Browns got the better end of this trade IMO. If the guy ran like AP, it would be a different story, but he is just a run of the mill RB.

I must admit Richardson did not do as well as I expected today. It was the lone disappointment to an otherwise great day. He doesn't break long runs. And he had a fumble which was reversed thanks to poor officiating.

Next week we play Seattle. He is not likely to do well then either.

Bradshaw, Brown and Luck all seem to find great room to run. Richardson so far has not. I hope this turns around soon.

Kids.. They gave up a 1...3...4...and a 7 for that pick... Colts gave a late 1st....

Can you do math in Jax?

Oh... BTW... 37-3

Well the Colts didn't trade away the #3 pick, did they? They traded away a late 1st round pick. How many late 1st round pick RBs score 12 touchdowns with over 1,300 total yards in their rookie year on a bad team?

Why are you mad? It was a bad trade. You guys will one and done it in the playoffs if you are lucky, or you could get whipped in the 1st round again.

Congrats on beating a team that is currently in the dumpster. Enjoy watching the Broncos game thinking what might have been.

Taking to you poopy helmet kids are like talking to a brick wall. Anticipating your major F up in the upcoming draft. Maybe there is a punter available....

Put your hatred for the Colts aside for a second while evaluating this trade.

In the past five years, here is a list of 1st round running backs:

Darren McFadden

Jonathon Stewart

Rashard Mendenhall

Felix Jones

Chris Johnson

Knowshon Moreno

Donald Brown

Chris "Beanie" Wells

C.J. Spiller

Ryan Matthews

Jahvid Best

Mark Ingram

Trent Richardson

David Wilson

Doug Martin

The only 2 running backs in the list I'd rather have are Chris Johnson and Doug Martin.

The Colts gave up a late 1st round pick to fill a void they needed filled and got the 3rd best runningback of the past 5 drafts.

"Bad trade"... only if you are blinded by Jags homerism.

Jag homerism? Come on now. You don't trade 1st round picks away for RB's. Colts will continue to be a slightly above the middle of the pack franchise until they figure this out.

Also, you are speaking like TR has actually done something in this league.

You already sound bitter and you aren't stuck with him.
