***Official Rams @ 49ers Thursday Night Football Game Thread***

This game is very exiting, the 49ers aren't rolling over for anyone. I am surprised they are hanging in this game. They will get some "shock" wins this year.

Welp my confidence levels in the Niners and Rams being fairly safe Ws on our schedule has fallen through the floor...

Aaron Donald with the game saving tackle to Hoyer on 4th and 20! Rams still and barely win 41-39! RAM IT!

What in the world does this mean?

Would it also have fell through the floor if the score was 10-7 and both defenses looked great? Those are just two really bad teams beating up on each others really bad defenses.

Right, I don't get the concerns about this game being a preview of two future games. If one team's defense is a weakness, seemingly better offense is to be expected.

Not as much, as we are not designed to keep up with a team that is pouring on points. I don't agree with the Rams being a really bad team either, I think they are pretty good and very well coached. The Niners are not very talented, but they are also very well coached and their effort level was fantastic. Considering how we travel out west, I am not overlooking them.

I agree with the traveling out west part. I can't remember the last time we won a game on that coast. But the niners are pretty horrendous. They weren't able to score a TD in two games against competent defenses. There were around 4 times that there was a ram in Hoyer's face as soon as he snapped it. I understand we don't have a player on the same level as Donald, but our line will manhandle theirs. I also agree that the Rams could be tough a game, depending on which Goff shows up. Im not buying into him yet. He has a serious case of staring down recievers as soon as he snaps the ball.

Against a good defense? Probably not because the 49ers gave up 41 points.

This just proves how bad Jeff Fisher was as a head coach. He leaves and what appeared to be a bust as a head coach suddenly turns into a promising player.

This is problematic on so many levels. Had i stayed how good would goff had been? We will never know. . Well i know but no way to prove how good he would be
