This comes after Jerry Jones said any player who disrespects the flag will not play.

This comes after record low ratings is what it comes from and probably lower ticket sales as well.

Information  (This post was last modified: 10-12-2017, 12:23 AM by JaguarsWoman.)

Any report that the NFL wants a ban on kneeling or sitting during the national anthem is incorrect.

Quote:The NFL has no plans to mandate players stand for the national anthem, a league spokesman told NFL.com Wednesday.

The spokesman went on to say "commentary this morning about the Commissioner's position on the Anthem is not accurate. The NFL is doing the hard work of trying to move from protest to progress, working to bring people together."

I would be for just eliminating the anthem, so we can see what these players come up with next.

Any inaccurate report, which is clearly what we are seeing here, is fake news.

Out of interest, do all sports over there have the National Anthem played beforehand?

Over here, it's only the 'cup finals' and not regular season games that have the National Anthem and, of course, National Team matches..

80% of what I talk about is nonesense.. the other 25% is made up statistics...

If by "all sports" you mean football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer, yes.
