So Andrew Luck is just above-average

2011 Season  JAGS 19 - COLTS 13

that final game of the season gave us the much needed momentum heading into 2012 and 2013.  Sure, the Colts got Luck with the #1 pick after losing that game, but we won the battle !!!

Go Jags !!
I see what you did there.

Obviously, until you win 3 super bowls and throw for 5,000 yds every year, you are mediocre.

Or until you rank in the top 10 in passer rating or YPA or some major category

Wow talk about a hater. I never said Luck was the second coming of Manning. But you can't deny (2) 11-5 seasons. THE most passing yards EVER for the first 2 years. F you. Where is your team ? Talk to me and hate me. Loser. My team is 1 game away from the super bowl. What is your team doing. Thats what I thought. [BLEEP]

I'm going to respond to your well thought out response twice. You're an idiot.

Even jags fans know you're a moron.

Not that I am trying to get into this fight or anything, but your team -- assuming that you mean Indianapolis -- is two wins away from the Super Bowl.

Trust me, I did the math.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Did I say Chad Henne was better...?

Luck isn't an elite QB yet. He has to be more consistent first. Give me the following over Luck (ignoring age)

Brees

Manning

Brady

Rodgers

Rivers

Big Ben

Newton

Wilson

I rank him with Ryan and Romo (sure that will annoy you). That makes him just above average on my list.

18-2 in games decided by 7 points or less.

Thats pretty consistent and elite to me.

+1.  I've been saying this for some time now, but you just put it  down very succinctly.  I disagree about Big Ben, but everything else you say is how I see things too.

Luck may become elite, but as of now,  he's just a good QB.  He's looked pretty bad at times this season as well.

Never heard that stat for any qb before. What's wrong with yards per attempt? Doesn't have the right answer? That's your fave stat.

When u bring up wins in a team sport as a stat for an individual player you are no better than the Tebow fans

LOL, yeah, Luck did have a few bad moments this year.....as would have any QB would have with that offense especially once Wayne went down. The fact that Luck won a playoff game with that offense (guys from the streeet like Da'Rick Rogers and Whalen....and played well and clutch in it just illustrates how good he is. If Luck had the Bengals weapons on offense, they'd be heading to the SB.

Ty Hilton just bailed the colts out of the big hole luck helped get them in with his turnovers by being impossible to cover and he isn't even classed as a weapon?

Luck wasn't even playing that great when Wayne was in.

Average. Clot fans are biased and will do and say anything to make sure their caveman is perceived as elite. Elite? LOL.

The most passing attempts too. Correlation? Probably.

Like I said toward the  beginning of the thread...........If Luck is "Average", then I hope we can find that "Average" QB to be our guy for the next 10 or so years. I'll be happy with that.

I will say this.  The caveman is the best QB in the AFCSouth.  For now...  I'd also take him over Kaepernick...  Still doesn't mean he's a great QB.

Does he do anything better than Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, or Colin Kaepernick? No. Average.
